Comment: Why Erasmo Castro is a liability to the city of Brownsville

First of all, I wish to remain anonymous because I have seen what kind of mischievous acts the people from the “cheezmeh” page are capable of, I have seen how they are very comfortably able to ruin a person from behind a computer and feel as if they’re never accountable for their actions.
I am involved in the medical field and I have been so for a couple of years, so I am not an expert in politics but I am able to discern between different types of people, therefore I offer the following letter (which if you wish to publish on your page would be reasonable.)

I’m well aware as to the condition of the city and of most of its politicians, most if not all which are far from being altar boys (or girls…) By this I mean they all have something to hide, it’s natural, it is basically, the human way.
But even so, these people at least have a fraction of the understanding of law or of the running of a city. Which I can’t seem to find present in Mr. Castro. Besides running a page on the internet that (for a lack of a better term) runs on hearsay and what most hispanics would know as “chisme”. He has no experience running a business (to which his only defense is “I work at the family business”, and a gossip page, is only that, gossip) much less a city.
As to his credentials, no where have I seen what degree he possesses, what his studies are, the only thing he has on his page is that he worked for Convergys and was a “cancer information specialist” or some sort of title he most certainly does not possess. Now I’m not attacking Mr. Castro, simply stating the facts, stating the information he has offered to the public, that is it.

But, that is not my major concern or the point of this letter. The point is, he is a liability for the city, he will cost the average taxpayer a hefty amount and here is why:
Besides stating the obvious (he is morbidly obese, again, not an attack, simply the opinion of a medical provider) he is already suffering the effects of his ill health, in pictures he’s posted (some holding cheese puffs or snacks)he’s wearing shorts and you can clearly observe his shins, which look shiny, hairless, but most worrisome he has black spots, black spots that are the sign of peripheral vascular disease, which means: he probably (90% sure) has diabetes mellitus type 2, also hypertension and very high lipids (cholesterol, LDL, etc…) All of these cause coronary artery disease (“heart attack”) and stroke (“brain attack”). He is at an increased risk for having a major event and if elected the risk is even greater.
Now, I certainly hope he is healthy and I am dead wrong, but if he were to have a stroke or heart attack in office, the city would be left with the bill, the hospital bill, the fact that the city will not have its head, but most of all, what example is he setting for the people of the city, for the kids who are already heavy and getting even heavier.
This is not right and I certainly wish health and the best for Mr. Castro, but he is NOT the best option for the city, he is a liability which will in turn cost the city even more. I wont make this any longer.

tl;dr: Mr. Castro is a disaster waiting to happen and we do not wish that on the city

Sincerely,
Concerned citizen of Brownsville
