Gold Cup Semifinal. USA vs Jamaica

Game started a little bit early since it was played early in Atlanta. Jamaica came off to a huge surprising start grabbing a surprise goal from a throw in and then a superbly taken free kick which paralyzed Brad Guzan the goalkeeper.  Those Raggae Boys from the Caribbean appeared to be a different team than I ever seen, attacking, running, passing…  Everything.  First half was dominated by Jamaica.  Second half was a different story as in the  48th minute Aaron Johanson fired a shot while the Jamaican keeper saving it but couldn’t hold it and it popped out towards where Michael Bradley scored an easy shot.   Shortly there after a misfired free kick from Clint Dempsey almost allowed Fabian Johnson to score a goal off the rebound to tie it. United States kept attacking with a lot of close chances but couldn’t find the equalizer.   Jamaica was able to hold the game to the last minutes and win for the first time and make the Gold Cup Final.  Jamaica will play the winner of Mexico vs Panama.

Stunning free kick for Jamaica.
