What came first? The Chicken or the Egg

Scientists have been debating hundreds of years the age old question “What came first, the chicken or the egg?”    Creationists have always mentioned that the chicken came first while evolutionists have mentioned neither chicken or egg came first but if not a proto chicken which laid a proto egg which later became a chicken.

Last week a captive snake with no male companion gave birth to little baby snakes, however the baby snakes didn’t last long and died shortly there after.  It is not the first time this snake has reproduced on her own, previously last year she had 2 offspring which did make it and are now on display at a conservation center in Missouri.  The snake has been in captivity for over 8 years after being caught in the wild and scientists speculate that it may be possible she may have stored sperm from male snakes but think it wouldn’t be possible to store sperm for more than 1 year period. Other snakes in the wild have been able to produce offspring without male companions consistently such as the flowerpot snake.

This leads to a question, should we form a new religion? Start praying to Mary Snake and Snake Jesus?
