This past weekend, the 19th annual Latin Jazz Festival took place on the Brownsville Market Square located on 1150 Market Square and on Levee & 11th street in Brownsville, Texas. This consisted of a 3 day event filled with music, art, dance and culture!
This particular event was first inagurated in 1997 by “The King of Latin Music” Tito Puente. Absolutely something very fascinating to think about, don’t you think so?
Well, the duration frame of this 3 day event was on the weekend days of October 9,10,11. The first day of this event was a little bit gloomy due to the fact that it rained, but behold, the venue was changed to a cozier climatized enviroment right across the street at The Half Moon Saloon! For the rest of the days, it went back to its’ original venues as in the past.
Superb performances were given by “Clay Moore y Los Elefantes del Jazz” on Friday, followed by “Beto & the Farelanes” on Saturday and to close on Sunday with all this jazz was “Crocro y su Tumbaka.”
Below are photos of this Jazz event to share the joy. Remember to look at our calendar of events next time for more events around you!
