So it came to my attention several followers that commented on our Facebook page www.fb.com/nomorecheezmeh mentioned that Sombrero Fest will be charging $30 presale tickets for Tigres Del Norte who will be performing on February 25, 2016 (Thursday) and $40 at the door for the day at the event. I’m not a big fan of Tigres Del Norte however I do know that they have been around for quiet a long time and are one of the main Norteño bands of all time. In addition the band has sold over 32 million records and have six latin grammys to their name, and have a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. How much would someone pay to watch these guys? Is the price fair? Well I actually checked out prices in other concerts they will be performing. There will be performing in November in New Mexico and the cheapest tickets there are going around $73 dollars with tax included. In December they will be performing at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City with the cheapest tickets going for $474 Pesos ( 27 dollars) with tax included, now keep in mind this is in Mexico so the prices are generally cheaper. So with only 10,000 tickets available, because the size of the venue available then it is safe to say that the price of the admission to see these guys is actually a pretty fair deal.
Los Tigres del Norte charging $30 a ticket at Sombrero Fest 2016?
