Erasmo Castro accepts $3000, hidden agenda?

It’s funny that someone who is campaigning to be County Chair and going on about “bringing back the party from the pockets from the few” accepts a $3000 check.  After looking at the January filings for the Texas Ethics Commission it shows that Erasmo Castro, who is his own treasurer put down on his campaign contributions that he received a $3000  contribution from Michael Cowen.

Now why on earth would you accept a ridiculous amount of money for a campaign when you preach about doing it grassroots style, fundraisers and trying to prove that you’re no different from the people you call corrupt? Wasn’t he posting last year “not being part of the political machine”, what a damn liar he is.

So who is Michael Cowen, and why would he give such a hefty sum to el marrano de monte? Well after digging around it turns out that Amber Medina, who is Erasmo Castro’s opponent in the democratic county chair race actually worked previously at the law practice of Michael Cowen (The Cowen Law Group) for about 5+ years until she decided to grow professionally and left the practice and now works out of McAllen at another practice.

So it looks like Erasmo Castro has some explaining to do about this hidden campaign contribution, which more than likely he won’t as he always does, just beat around the bush like the coward he is.
