When people lie about having cancer

When people run for office, they will say almost anything to win the people’s vote.  I’ve been around long enough to know when candidates are lying or at least they believe what they say is true. Let’s be honest folks, we know politicians will say anything we want to hear but at the end of the day probably not come through with their promises, but we vote anyway because we at least think our vote can make a difference.   But when does lying become pathological and compulsive to which the stories you say are so far fetched they are really not believable? Well one person has hit a new low, and that one person is none other than Erasmo Castro.

Yesterday in a publication, Erasmo Castro posted a selfie with the following “I am cancer free ….”.  Did anyone know he had cancer, at least I didn’t and I’m sure the majority of followers didn’t know either, after all this is a person that posts everything about his personal life for the world to see and claims to be accessible 24/7.   Now Erasmo has had a history of health complications starting in the early 1990s from his drug and substance abuse which has included cocaine, acid, and a variety of other drugs but never related to cancer.

Erasmo Castro has been border line diabetic for many years, although technically there is no such thing as pre-diabetes (either you have diabetes or you don’t), but it is pretty apparent that el cheezter suffers tremendously on his health due to being overweight and mostly caused through his poor eating habits.  I remember when meeting Erasmo at Cobbleheads many years ago, he ordered 3 bowls of tortilla soup and mind you these bowls can fill up two regular people but cheez is not a regular ordinary citizen and of course can consume large amounts of food with very little effort.

Just a couple of years ago, Erasmo had reached almost an astonishing 450 pounds and a heart attack was imminent at any given time. Fearing for his life several of his close friends advised him to get lap band surgery and to help him out they would also go under the knife as well to get the same procedure done.  Several months afterwards the results were very noticeable for at least erasmo’s friends who had lost over 150+ pounds each and appeared to be happy with the results, as for Erasmo it seemed to have helped slightly but not significantly.  Looking at some of the current pictures Erasmo has posted of himself recently, my best guess is that he’s lost least anywhere from 60 lbs to 80 pounds but still continues to be obese.

On October 14th, Erasmo asked the question if he can eat snowcones while on a liquid diet, while nobody knew at the time why he was saying this, he was hinting at something to come.  On October 23rd he followed up with a confirmation he was “officially fasting/liquid diet” the next day, which would make the official start date of his liquid diet on Monday October 24th.  Why is the date important? Well when you’re going to get lapband surgery, gastric balloon or any type of gastric surgery, it is advised to be on a liquid diet 7 – 14 days before the procedure.

Looks like Erasmo waited exactly 7 days, which is the minimum amount of days on a liquid diet before any type of gastric procedure.  After the procedure was done he didn’t campaign that day but handed the campaign controls over to his sister Linda.  The very next day he was back campaigning and seen everywhere again taking selfies.  Now any major surgery requires rest for several weeks but most gastric procedures allow the patient to resume daily activities 24 hours after the procedure is complete.

So this leads to the main question, why would Erasmo Castro lie about having cancer?  Well frankly it’s because Erasmo is nothing more than a pathological and compulsive liar. Last year when he ran for mayor he said he was threatened with a gun and that his life was in danger, yet he never made a police report about it because he knew he was lying.  The main motivation for faking an illness is to gain sympathy. People like being the center of attention; they like the constant stream of well-wishes and gifts, concerned calls from old friends and others, and who does this sound like? Yep, you guessed it.

Erasmo needs to visit a psychologist and get treated and stop making up lies… if anything they probably inserted a colonoscope up his ass to make sure he doesn’t have cancer.
