I remember many years ago when I was working at El Globo, one of the employees booked a room at the Sheraton and most of us that worked at the grocery store went over to chill and smoke weed. I couldn’t legally drink at the time since I was under 21 but I still had myself a beer or two to not be a party pooper.   I never spent the night at that Sheraton but at least I can say that I went there once.  I know many of my friends who have claimed they have lost their virginity staying there or hooking up with girls at bars and taking them care for a night of casual sex, whether its true or not well, another story all together.  Club Ruchis is the club that’s been there for older adults for quiet a while too at the end of the hotel.  Many fights have taken place and quiet a few stories have came out such as the one that Juan Montoya on El Rrun Rrun published about the sister of el cheezter getting her ass kicked por supuestamente andar de wila, article can be found here http://rrunrrun.blogspot.com/2013/04/hot-cheezmeh-at-ruchislets-get-ready-to.html

The plans of this hotel is to be demolished and be constructed into a plaza called “Las Palmas” with fine restaraunts such as Applebees, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, and Palenque Grill.   While this hotel may no longer exist, it will still exist in the minds of many.  Share your story with us.
