Silverio Capistran Jr, the former Food and Nutrition Director for the Brownsville Independent School District killed himself last night in an apparent suicide.
He was found inside his truck with his brains splattered all over inside the cabin. If anyone remembers just a few weeks ago the tainted meat scandal that occurred where BISD was found using meat from Mexico and it was tainted getting a few kids sick, Silverio was the one responsible.
I have said it many times before in Spanish “El que nada debe, nada teme” (If you don’t owe anything, you fear nothing)… only God and himself knew the reasoning behind taking his life away. Now only more questions remain and more allegations open up and it may be possible we may not have all the answers.
An autopsy has been ordered to see if he was under the influence of alcohol or drugs before he took his life away.
