It’s Valentine’s Day weekend and it’s that time again to impress your crush, girlfriend, wife..etc.. although in reality you should be doing this all year round and not just one day out of the year.  If you need a couple of ideas of what to do, maybe this article can help you think of something to do for her… I say her mostly because well, I’m a guy.

Bouquet of flowers

One of the number one things that women love is fresh flowers, and Brownsville has lots of flower shops around,however you can find a great selection of flowers without breaking the budget at Walmart or at HEB for $10.00.  Remember it’s not about how much something costs but if not behind the meaning behind it.  Don’t forget to get a vase also and add an extra touch of detail.

Valentine’s Card

While you’re shopping for flowers, don’t forget to pickup a hallmark card, usually you can find them at Walgreens, HEB, Walmart.  Most of these are anywhere from $3.00 to about $7.00 (the music ones).  Doesn’t hurt to write your true feelings on these things and tell her “Te amo mi amor, con todo mi corazoncito, para siempre”  🙂

Bath and Beyond

There’s nothing more pleasing than a woman smelling good… you know that feeling when you’re out somewhere and see a girl and she passes by you and she smell so good and so fresh? Well instead of getting her a watch, phone, fancy dress… get her some lotions or scents from Bath And Beyond, you can find some good deals and trust me she’ll be using them and trust me, you’ll like the way your woman going to smell afterwards.

Men don’t normally cook much at home, but it’s Valentine’s and why not make it a special occasion and cook something for that special woman in your life.   There’s lots of easy recipes that you can follow out there and if you want to do it man style, get a couple of rib eye steaks from HEB or your favorite meat place and put them on the grill, and serve them up with a couple of vegetables and don’t forget the wine.

If cooking at home is not your thing, then take her out to her favorite place.  Brownsville has some great places to eat,  Adolios,  Mariscos De La Rosa, La Pampa, Madeira, Zocalo, just a few that come to mind. Whatever place you decide to end up going,  call way ahead of time and make a reservation, what better way to impress your date than showing up and having a seat ready for you.

There’s a few good movies this weekend, primarily the ones I think I would recommend would be the new Deadpool movie but I think Zoolander 2 may be a better choice.  You could stay home and watch Netflix if you decided to cook at home.

Of course a great Valentine’s night cannot end without making sweet passionate love, if you been having problems with your girl for whatever reason, they will end on Sunday night, I can’t guarantee that you’ll not continue to have problems afterwards but at least for a few days, things will be great.  Don’t forget to tell her how much you love her.
